This policy explains what information Inkseta ("we," "us") collects when you use entropy.inkseta.com (the "Site"), and how that information is used.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address
- A securely hashed password (we never see or store your password in plain text)
- If you sign in with Google, basic profile information shared by Google (name, email, profile photo)
How we use it
Your email is used to:
- Send you account confirmation and login-related emails
- Notify you when new episodes of Entropy are released
- Send occasional updates about the series and the Inkseta platform
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Where your data is stored
Account data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database and authentication provider. Emails are sent through Resend, a transactional email provider. Both services are industry-standard providers with their own security practices.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from episode alerts at any time using the link in any email we send. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us — see below.
Cookies
The Site uses minimal local browser storage to remember your theme preference (light/dark mode) and keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
